I am currently registering for my NR status.
NR: Non-resident.
I am a non resident of UiTM.
I wish I don't have to set foot in UiTM ever again!
But alas.. what choice do I have?
It seems that the great Montesquieu got it right.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Or in this case. sudden elevation into minimal power.
Apparently there's a crackdown on us "student drivers".
So boys and girls, stay very vigilant.
You wouldn't want to slapped with summons worth hundreds now would you?
Personally, I'd rather spend the money on myself rather then give it to the university.
So there it is.
I have just clicked 'send' to my NR application.
And now I have to wait for my dear father to wake up so that I can get the 'geran kereta' from him.
This blows.
PS:
And I think I might have just violated some kind of provision in AUKU.
Bust I just don't fucking care.

I'm a Snorlax!
I dub myself the queen of procrastinators!
I have finished reading "Duchess by Night"
(Which was actually quite good. Albeit it being a lil too soppy at parts. But it's definitely a keeper.)
I have updated Avant La Mode.
Though I know I don't have to since I've just updated it yesterday. (=_=)"
I have planned all the things I wanna do once I finish writing the second chapter of my project paper.
Which includes watching "Crazy stupid Love"
*\(^_^)/* <-- Me cheering with pom poms.
But I haven't even STARTED to type!
I have spent the whole day 'preparing' to write my stupid project paper.
*Flying kick muka sendiri*
I feel like a bum.
Maybe the picture of Snorlax makes more sense if I also disclose that I've GAINED 1 KG.
Despite my attempts to shed the pounds.
Ugh.
PS: This picture reminds me of Totoro! <3
Maybe I'll watch it after I'm done with my Project Paper.
*Acts like the 3 tests next week doesn't exist*
*Sigh*

Sometimes
There were times these past weeks that I really wanted to blog- Because I was feeling down.
Funny how I REALLY start to write again when something goes wrong.
So I've stopped myself from blogging when I'm down.
Just so I don't muck up the aura of this site :P
And though I'm planning to start writing again.
In the back of my mind I cant help but think that this sudden burst of enthusiasm will fade soon.
Meh.
Tomorrow is yet another event for ALM.
This time, it's in Damansara.
And I have a paper due on Monday.
And my International Trade Finance test on Wednesday.
Yippie.
I better get my lazy ass in gear before I get into some REAL trouble.

Busy Bee
I've been a VERY busy bee!
Tee-hee~
ALM's pre-orders are more complicated then I thought..
But things are falling into place.
I guess I just need time to learn the ropes :s
Note to self: Plan ahead.
Check for holidays & when I will not be around to handle all pre-order details.
DO NOT place closing dates & estimated times of arrival on those dates!
Seems pretty basic and obvious right?
But I swear that it didn't even occur to me to think about that.
(=__=)"
Fail.
Am also somewhat nervous about going to Europe.
I'll be missing the first week of the semester & that's when I'm supposed to submit the first chapter of my project paper..
And I haven't even started editing for it!
Oh no..
I hope my darling teammates won't be too pissed at me for not being around.
Heh.
Oh, and the part that sucks most- my luggage limit is only 20 kg! Dammit!
But I wanna SHOP!
Plan: Bring two suitcases, one check in luggage & one hand luggage. AND make sure my huge ass luggage is EMPTY! And if I can manage it, I'll pack REALLY light so that there's some space in my hand luggage!
Yeah!
I can do it!
*Over!!!*

OoooooOooooooo...
I cannot get that stupid song outta my head.
Barbra Streisand.
Heh.
I swear, this is the most annoying song ever made.
Ever.
So much for creative lyrics..
Anywho.. I committed two huge boo-boos today.
All in one course: Criminal Law II.
1) I did not study for the test.
2) I sent in my test sheet early- as in, I was the ONLY one to send in the sheet early.
Good lord!
And no, this is NOT because I feel that Criminal law is easy peasy.
*Or maybe I'm just writing faster??*
I just cant seem to force myself to study at home.
And by 11, I'll get all sleepy.
My brain shuts down.
I am getting old.
Old and lazy.
Sheesh.
And I also blame LRM.
On the other hand, business is doing great.
Haha.
Maybe I can be a lawyer/Businesswoman?
Double whammy indeed :)

Gahhhh!!! Part 2
I have wasted ONE hour on the net.
Trying and FAILING miserably at attempting to find a stupid case.
Yeah, what a great mooter I am..
Suddenly I realise that I'd be dead meat without my dear Z.
Heh.
Oh! YAY!
Never mind.. I've found it!
Good lord!
I have to start learning how to effectively use Lexis Nexis..
Blegh!
I've been neglecting my personal blog..
And had been busy with the *ahem* "other" blog.
Haha.
We'll be premiering in UiTM at Law Faculty's No Wine And Cheese Party.
*Fingers Crossed*
I hope things goes well.
I SO need to recover my seed money :)
Next batch OTW!
Oh, and to the course work..
You are KILLING me!
Gaaahhh!!!

Gaaah!!!
Just found out that my legal research topic is UNAVAILABLE.
After weeks of finalizations.
Today you tell me?!
So now, back to square one.
Yippie.
Oh well.
At least now we're researching on firearms.
Something well within my scope of interest.
Heh.
Ended up researching on how you can kill (or at least grievously hurt) somebody using a paintball marker.
I researched that if you modify it well enough, you really can hurt somebody.
Cool.
I wonder if we can play 'myth busters' and try to do it ourselves..
No?
Ben can play the role of the human-like crash test dummy ;)
I promise we won't kill you..
Going to Astaka tomorrow.
For our 'research'.
I hope I can open fire.
Been wanting to try it out for SO long.
Tee-hee.

OUT!
I am not myself lately.
I know I'm a klutz.. And I forget things..
But now, I can't even remember what day it is (=.=)"
Today, I thought my class was at Menara.
It wasn't.
It's on Thursday. Today's Wednesday you twit.
*Sigh*
When I finally JOGGED back to Cempaka- to my supposed class.
Twas empty.
Only THEN did I remember that the lecturer mentioned that there's NO CLASS today.
*Bash head on wall*
Oh well, at least now I've done my day's worth of jogging.
Meh.
Jessup is this weekend!
Hurry up!
I want this over and done with so that I can enjoy my *tong-tong-chang* CNY hols!
P/S: Funny how I'm more impatient than nervous.
Hmmm... But then again, the nervousness will kick in soon enough..

Waiting
I have one class today. One!
Woke up late and left the house in a hurry. Went through the effing tol to cut the jam and spent a good 20 mins trying to find a parking space. Then ran (in high heels) all the way to the top floor of Cempaka 1- just to find that the lecturer is not coming.
Meh.
I should've stayed in and slept.
And yes, my biological clock is still a complete mess.
Now here I am in the kamar hakim.
Waiting for Iceman & Mr tupai to go for our daily training for Jessup.
And yes, I'd rather wait for them then enter the lion's den all by myself.
Safety in numbers perhaps?
And though we've been training everyday, I still haven't gotten the hang of mooting in a court setting.
And the fact that I know almost zilch about IL and IHL does not help matters.
I'm starting to feel like I don't deserve this.
Shall try to talk Izzat into taking my place.
But I have a sinking feeling that it wouldn't work.
I'm screwed. T.T

The normal things
The visit to NUS was.. umm.. interesting.
People say that I'll be blown away by how hi-tech and globalized they were.
In a sense, I was.
Pretty nice.
This is the business faculty and they have lil corners like this where students can just hang out or do their work.
I like the cute mini sofas!
Plus, the whole place is air conditioned.
But then, so is UITM..
But they win hands down on the student affairs department.
These are not condos, they're in-campus student residence!
*Green with jealousy*
If only Kenanga is like this :'(
But above all else, they have this near their student centre;
I mean like WHAT THE HELL?
That is so cool.
Major brownie points from me.
Nothing can win me over better then food~
They get Subway while the good residents of Kenanga get... nothing.
Not even a minimalist mini market.
*Boo~*
But just before going back to the hotel, I read this on one of the student shout out boards;
"We love bang bros, mofo bros, all bros. Yeah!"
LOL.
Just goes to show that no matter where you go, students will be students.
Perangai same je.
Hah.
Caught Mummy trying to plug in the printer using my i pod wires.
Haha.
She complains that she cant tell all the stupid wires apart.
So now we have a bunch of small bags with post-its on them- especially for all the pesky wires.
Mom is so cute sometimes :)

1. The walk from my hotel to Bugis Junction is 10 mins.
I spent 30 mins to get there.
I was just there the other day and yet, I got lost today.
My sense of direction sucks.
(But then, I already knew that. Heh.)
2. I know S'pore is small but this is ridiculous!
It's so crowded here.
And I'm not referring to Bugis Street itself.
The whole area was crawling with shoppers- and it's a weekday!
*Pening*
3. Bugis Street reminds me of Petaling Street.
And similarly, you have to really hunt for the best bargains.
And oh, the fantastic bargains I found :)
Tee-hee~
It's amazing how good the materials are here!
Better then I've ever seen in places like these in M'sia anyways..
And Some of the things here are way cheaper too.
4. The food here is crazy expensive!
One would think that food here would be only slightly more expensive as compared to M'sia since we're neighbouring countries after all..
But I guess the import/export takes a toll on the prices.
kesian.
*Sings NegaraKu*
I LOVE Malaysia~
I love our food!
5. 3 hours in the gym and now planing on a long soak in the tub.
Ahh... Perfect!
I wish everyday is like this..
(PS: my tummy STILL wont go away. sheesh.)
6. Daddy is gonna go berserk when he sees the bills.
Heh.
Oh well.. It is an expensive city after all...
Will be going to National University of Singapore (NUS) tomorrow.
Hmm.. The winners of Maritime.
Maybe I'll Jampi the place so that we'll win next year.
Heh.
kidding.
Or am I??
*Evil grin*

Got stung by a bee.
Still itches like hell.
Bee dead for stinging me.
Equity and Trust paper was a total bust.
stomachache during exam.
Shit. Literally.
Worse timing ever.
(And am pissed coz the guy sitting next to me SLEPT for the first 20mins of the exam)
Land paper in approximately 8 hours.
Have not memorized all the cases nor sections.
Fuck it.
Am still planning to sleep soon.
Enough rest = enough energy to bullshit intelligently.
Need some good R&R.
After this paper, will put aside at least 3 hours for game play :)

Update!
To those who missed Recycle day @ The Cosmod; Boo!
It was rocking! (despite the blah support)
Will post on what you've missed! ;(
Okay, if saving mother Earth isn't your thing, then maybe health awareness is.
So if you're in Shah Alam or just need something to do this Saturday, why not stop by this event!
Plus, there will be a bazaar for those searching for something unique!
Shopping + awareness = A day VERY well spent :)
p/s: It's a darn shame I cant donate my blood to those in need.
Do donate some blood if you can.
What's the point of being awesome if you cant help a man out right?

Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Date: 2nd Oct 2010 (Sat)

Monkey Attack
Looks like getting a kolej is gonna be harder than i thought..
Since the number of asasians and new part 1 BLS students are hitting their all time high, the rest of the students are chucked into the back-burner.
Great, THAT'S fair.
Sheesh.
Thank god for moots I guess..
It's amazing what a letter of recommendation can do.
Suddenly the admin staff works trice as hard to help you and a (normally) month worth of waiting was cut down into 2 days!
(Looks like there are perks to all the hard work after all. Tee-hee)
For the first time, I (finally!) get to stay in Kenanga.
Yay! That means I can wake up at 8 am and NOT be late for my 8.30 classes.
*Grins*
Plus, I can go to the library anytime I want.
And more importantly, I can actually get internet access from the comfort of my own room!
Ohh! And I DO NOT have a room mate!
I get the whole room all to myself.
Perfect.
Now I don't have to consider the comfort of another person when I wanna make a total mess :)
This. Is. Great!
Now if only I can make the "Kenanga's Haunted!" taunts from my friends to stop and find a way to ward off all the annoying-food-stealing monkeys playing around in the corridor, everything would truly be perfect~

News from Sydney
MARA's Law school has managed to keep up their winning streak in IMLAM (International Maritime Law arbitration Moots)!
Though we won by a VERY small margin.. But hey, a win is a win right??
Wins against;
1. Melbourne Uni (Respondent's win)
2. South Hampton Uni (Respondent's win)
3. Universitas Padjajaran (Claimant's win)
Next battle, Hong Kong Uni. (Claimant)*Gulp!*
Am hoping that we can make it to the next round! *crosses fingers*
It'll be a nice trade up from all the losses we had suffered throughout the years..
Plus, letting down our trainers isn't really an option.
We also had a little sight seeing projects while we're in Sydney :)
Though the weather is too bloody cold, we still managed to go on an all day trip outdoors~
The place is beautiful!
Shall be back with the pics!
p/s: I miss the boyfriend.
New goal before I graduate; Travel with him.
Tee-hee.

UiTM update!
Looks like there were some going ons at UiTM while the kiddies were away..
So here are some updates for those going to UiTM (esp those from law school).
1. We welcome (yea ke??) 900(!) new asasi students to our (Very) small law faculty.
Since we have limited space and also limited lectures..
Reports are coming in that lectures have to take more classes than normal so that other lectures can be dispatched to teach the asasians.
On another not-so-happy note for the BLS students, since the law fac is so small, we might have to have night classes in our weekly schedule. *sigh*
However, even the lectures are reluctant about having night classes, so meetings may follow to see if we could avoid it. (I hope so!)
2. Law fac's Cempaka 1,2 and 3 had been installed with new grills! *Yuck!*
Even the top windows are grilled!
Me no like.

I wonder what exactly is their motive of grilling the place up?
To protect the computers inside or just to peeve us?
But then again, rooms with the computers were always locked up.
And as far as I know, there hasn't been any recent break ins..
Hish, looks like they have too much money to burn..
Oh no.. I can just imagine some of the lectures locking up the grills if we get to class late..
(can you guess who??) Heh.
Ugh, having boring classes and feeling caged up at the same time.
NOT exactly a mood booster..
Sheesh.
Rasa macam criminal pulak.. Heh.
3. UiTM international centre had a fire accident.
The fire broke out at around 3-5am on Friday.
The first floor is completely destroyed and the building shall be declared safe/unsafe by the fire brigade by Monday.
The call for help was made by UiTM's vehicle office (right beside UIC).
But most of you may wonder.. Why the heck didn't the pak guards at UiTM call the firemen instead since the International centre is RIGHT BESIDE the sec 7 gate??
Shouldn't there be guards there 24/7??
Well, apparently, they DID smell something burning but they didn't check it out.
???
What the fuck?
You smell something burning and as the security there, you DID NOT just go over and just see what's the cause of it??
News flash, the smell of something burning most likely means somethings IS burning.
Idiots.
Sometimes I wonder WHY we need them??
Oh yes, to give us bloody summons. I forgot.
This is a look from outside. (Sorry about the horrendous pic. Was in a hurry.)

And this is what it looks like inside.
(can you see the filing cabinet? And I think the roof collapsed in this one..)
The whole office floor is pretty much useless now.
And the cause of the fire is still unknown.
Investigations are still going on.
I hope it wasn't arson.
Now, back to UiTM for moots. Ugh.
Now THAT'S yet another story. *SIGH*

If all doesn't work out, I now have plan B!
The exams are OVER. *Whee!!*
The constitutional paper was... hell, why cry over spilt milk right?
Just as long as I do better than last semester (yes, twas really THAT bad), I'm good :)
I know that I'll be getting only 2 weeks of holidays instead of the per normal 2 months..
(Damn, don't say I do not sacrifice for my studies.. Being a lawyer better be awesome! *Hish*)
So my mission impossible shall be to condense 2 month's worth of fun into 2 weeks. Heh.
Starting off with the film that I've been itching to watch;

I've always liked tony stark.
I suspect that it's his devil-may-care attitude that has the ladies (yours truly included) weak in the knees. *Sigh*
He has better lines in the sequel (thank god). I like him better witty anyways.
But there were HORRIBLE lines too;
"Only you can solve the puzzle of your heart"
WTF. Not cool (though it did make me giggle).
But really, the true reason for my tak sabar-ness is because I wanna see yummy Scarlett Johansson~ *drool*
In the risk of sounding like a total lesbo; Scar Jo in normal clothes is great, but her in leather leotards is _____ (fill in the blank) XD
That girl is HOT!
At least now I know what to do with myself if the whole relationship thingy with men doesn't work out.. Heh.
The whole movie pretty much revolves around the development of Tony Stark's character.
I really think 'humanising' the hero was a really smart move.
We're all bored of the can-never-do-wrong and squeaky-clean heroes anyway.
plus, I absolutely love the cute bickering between Tony and Pepper.
I'll rate it a 8/10.
Shafiq called me a dude with boobs -man boobs.
While I was wearing a freakin floral dress (for once)!
WTF la wei!

Loop finger pointing
Got into the exam hall just in the nick of time.
Bloody traffic jams.. (I swear, Malaysia is getting way too populated.)
Not only was I late, I had a massive stomach cramp. Sial je.
And the paper was NOT easy. Tambah lagi sialan.
*Sigh*
But it is over and done with. *huge weight lifted*
There was some pretty interesting news today. A high school boy was shoot dead by a policeman today.
To be quite honest, my initial reaction after reading the whole report was; when it comes down to it, twas a mistake. Albeit a deadly mistake.
It surprised me how the parent of the boy was so quick to blame the police for what happened to her son. Yes, I do understand that the boy lost his life. It must be very traumatizing to learn that your child is no longer with you. It's a great loss and my prayers go out to him.
But the fact was, he was out joy riding at 2am. He's 15 for god's sake! (Anyways, wasn't it a school night?) There's no doubt that he doesn't have a licence to drive the car, but what baffles me is how he got hold of the goddamn car in the first place? And there was a machete in the car! If that doest show flawed parenting, I don't know what does..
Sure, kids get into all kinds of shenanigans. It's in their nature. But when a kid gets access to a car, drives recklessly on a public road (it was reported that he ran several red lights) and could potentially hurt or even kill not only himself, but also innocent others. That's just plain wrong.
In hind sight, it was more likely that he could have lost his life in an accident rather than being shot. And if that were to happen, who should the parents blame? The other driver? My point is that he could just have easily gotten hurt any other way. In this case, the police were merely scape goats. Someone to blame for a sad sad event.
A policeman's duty is to protect the public from harm -and in this (rare) case, they're actually doing their job. They are trained to react to potentially dangerous and aggressive baddies. Logically speaking, if you're a police officer and it's at 2am in the morning with a person in a car who's clearly trying to escape arrest and is suspected to be a robber, would you have reasonably suspected that the person in the car was just a kid or somebody who can potentially hurt you?
Normally I'd never give sympathy to the police (I do not like them very much I'm afraid..) But just because a person is a police officer does not mean he does not fear for his life. He has a family too. I doubt that he wants to lose that..
D. Shahrizat may be right; those with licence to firearms should only fire as a last resort. And even then, only as self defense. There is still a possibility that the tragic death was caused by an error of judgement. He now has blood on is hands. The thought of that alone would haunt him for the rest of his life.
It saddens me that people are so quick to judge. Though it was reported that the kid did try to run over the cop, and that the cop was trying to aim at the tyres or that the cop was supposed to be only on desk duty -all that are yet to be proven. With information on the case still hazy (at best), there's already blogs and facebook pages being set up to boycott the police. Things should be critically analyzed before action is taken. People shouldn't be so rash as to point the fingers at anyone just yet. The best thing to do is have a good look at yourselves first.

I need you now
God, I cannot believe its been almost two months since my last post.
I almost forgot how good it felt to have a space to vent :(
My finals are here! (How time flies!!!)
2 down, 3 to go.
Speaking of, the last paper was a huge suck fest.
I just pray that I don't get another useless B.
Yeah2, I know I should be thankful for a B, but it's hard to be happy with a B when the people around you look down on you because of it.
Last sem's horror results CANNOT repeat itself.
Just the thought of it... *shivers*
Next up, MLS! The monster of the semester.
Quite honestly I cant figure out heads or tails of the whole course. Heh.
This is bad.
I wanna study but I do not think my head can digest anything law related at the moment.
Plus, due to my health complications, I had to take up yoga & palates.
(I can imagine the whole world snickering) *Sobsob*
Though many think that I wont stick to the routines or the dieting (no more coke!! Fuck me.) I'm determined to make it!
I've stuck with it for 5 days.. Yay! (Trust me, if it's me, this is a monumental achievement)
