Yup, EPIC failure

Soooo...
Here's the thing, I'm SUPPOSED to save up.
You see, I'm dead broke.
Hence, the feeble attempt to start a blogshop to help ease my financial pain.
(Though I'm STILL hoping that the blogshop will work out.)
*Prays*

Anyways, my buying a new creme foundation (Benefit's Some Kind-a gorgeous) did NOT help matters.
Ugh.
*Flying kick muka sendiri*
But I was SO taken by the uber cute packaging!
(And the recommendation from Elle roped me in too..)

BUT I've come to realise that the packaging was the only thing I liked about it!
What the hell was Elle thinking??
I hated this!

1.It smelled foul. Seriously, I didn't expect it to smell good. But for god's sake, this makes my face smell funny! My boy will not want to snuggle near my face with this thing on!

2. It's so sheer, it can't even qualify as a primer! I keep needing to reapply and reapply and reapply to make sure it gives me the coverage I want. Which brings us to the next problem...

3. There's not really much product! For the price of this thing, one would expect it to have a lil more substance. At this rate, I'll hit the pan by next week and it'll all be gone by next month. NOT worth the money.

4. I thank god that He's blessed me with good skin. Because this thing is quite oily. Even when it has 'dried' and morphs into a powder-ish finish. I've heard that some people's faces breaks out when they use this!
*Gulp!*

Long story short, this thing's over rated.
DO NOT GET THIS!

On the other hand, I love this;

The Face Shop's Aqua Drop Sleeping Pack

I've only been using it for over a week but so far, it has served it's purpose :)
My face is moisturised and I (Somewhat) get that dewy look when I wake up.
So I'm happy enough.
But the best part is (atleast for me la~) the fact that if 'melts' on your skin!
It changes textures from a creme to H2O-like liquid.
It's really fun to play with.
Bahaha!

I've drawn a small calender- 15 days till my accessories arrive.
Am being an impatient twit- but I don't care!!!

Baby Steps!

First batch of stuff out!
*Yay!*

Though my accessories are still on the high seas..
I thought whaddaheck, what's stopping me from starting now??
XD

So sorry.
I don't have alot for you guys to choose from. YET.
Heh.

So I'll just give u guys the link and be sure to stay tuned!
I'm hoping that customs will release my items by the middle of Jan!
*Fingers crossed!*

http://avant-la-mode.blogspot.com/

I'm also offering all Shopping Roll, Fashiono & A Shopaholic's Den readers a 10% discount on all the items I have 1listed.
It's certainly unfair to have that and not allow it for my own readers as well kan?
So if you're reading this, and see something u like, just e-mail me about it :)

I want all my lovely accessories to arrive quick!
Arggh!!!

To debut or not?

I am on track!

Wohoo!!!
I'm finally done with the final touches of the blogshop.
The banners, terms & conditions and packaging strategy.. Woah! This is no joke.
It's hard work!
I just hope I can pull it off alone :/

Anyways, presenting my new blogshop! (or at least it's banner..)

The official banner, designed by moi!
*Heh*
I'm starting out with accessories.
And a few other odd (but fabulous) items here and there..
The problem is, I have the few odd items on hand.
But not the accessories.
Haha!
I guess I have to wait a lil longer for them to arrive :)

The question is, do I start now?
Or should I wait???

The boyfriend is back home.
I shall miss u!
Get back quick please!

P/S: The bestie has already planned a bunch of things to do for the new year's countdown.
And I may not be there.
Instead, I'll be in the moot court.
Training for Jessup.
Yippe.
*Note the sarcasm*

:)

To do list:

1) Finish writing the memorials for both applicant and respondent - Check!
2) Finalize stock order for blogshop - Check!
3) Make payments for new house - Check!
4) Make payments for stock ordered -Check!
5) Resolve parental unit problem - Check!

All I need to do now is read up for all my footnotes and wait patiently for my stock to arrive!
*Giddy!*
Heh.

Who would have thought that I'll do something like this??
I guess it's true that you'd do what you have to do in a time of need.

This is the only way I know how I can pay the rent without working..

The new semester is about to start!
GAH!
It suddenly dawns..
I really didn't get my holiday.
This whole mooting thing is a love-hate relationship indeed.

I miss the boyfriend.
I've not spent time with him for what seems like ages.
And his only a 5 min drive away!
(=.=)"
I hope he understands..

Blogshop in progress

Been very busy with getting ready for moots, setting up my own blogshop AND dealing with the parental unit.

*Sigh*

I know my memorial needs work but I'm too darn lazy to get to it.
That.. and the fact that I've lost the mood to do all the work with the piles of problems in my way.

I am beyond nervous about my blogshop.
Because I've put in so much into it.
Because if it doesn't take off, I'm basically screwed.
Am as scared as heck.
But I've decided to do this, and I'm gonna carry it through.

The parental unit is not very happy with me.
well, at least one of them isn't.
Sometimes you just realize that even parents have egos too.
I knew when I enrolled into UiTM that I'll have to thread lightly.
A parent in the same university is pretty much the same as going to the same high school where your parent is a teacher there..
NOT fun!

I absolutely hate having to be super nice to everybody- even if I hate their guts.
I hate having to sneak around just to have a good time out with friends because supposedly, good girls don't experiment. They don't go out at night.
They stay in their stuffy, hot dorm rooms and fucking study-while wearing the baju kurung.
*pfft!*
People should mind their own damn business.

Oh, and my car got towed on Friday.
Fuck.
More money out the window.

Am hoping that by Monday, everything will be settled.
well, either that or..
1) Things get worse with the parental unit and WWIII ensues.
Which means;
2) I'll have to delay the opening of my blogshop.
And results in;
3) No mood to write the bloody memorials.

Animated!

Have been awfully busy writing the Jessup memorials.
good news, first draft done.
Bad news, it's ONLY the first draft.
Lots and LOTS more to research on :'(
AND Mama Shai has left us to go to fabulous Paris.
Great.

But before she left, we all thought that it's best if we let out some steam..
So off to Seoul Garden to pig out!
I LOVE the food there!
All the lamb, beef, chicken, fish and squid I can eat!
And playing masak-masak with all your fav people is so much fun!
(Due to the horrific table manners displayed during 'the pig out' session, no pictures were taken.)

Just to put off going back to the moot court, we opted to go watch a movie.
Heh.

We chose Disney's Rapunzel, Tangled simply because:
1) It required the least brain power to follow the story line.
2) I heard that it's a laugh. After days trapped in the Kamar Hakim, laughter needed.
3) It's Disney for god's sake! I have not missed one yet! XD

And I have to say, apart from the singing- it was darn good.
(If it's supposed to be a goddamn musical, then be one. If it's not, do away with the singing- and yes, I'm not a fan of HSM or Glee either.)

The whole movie was saved by the silent characters, the chameleon, Pascal and the horse/dog??, Maximus.

Oh, and we have our very own Rapunzel cast too!
It's so eerily similar!

1)Obviously, Shai is Rapunzel. (Duhh! Even their out fits match!)
She's the princess of the team. Born into a noble family but is down to earth & kind.

2)Not so obviously, Izzat is Flynn.
Ehh.. just because Shai is generous enough to make him the hero by simply being with him. (Just like Flynn!) Sorry dude. Heh.

3) Khairil is Maximus.
The side-kick of Flynn (or in our case, Izzat) but also would rather listen to Rapunzel (in our case, Shai). See how similar this is???

4) Zharif is Pascal!
My fav character! Haha. Z is really the best fit.
Loyal, helpful and most importantly, cool as ice.

5) I'm obviously the evil one. Meh.
But I have to admit, I'm as every bit as dramatic as the old hag.
(The only difference is, I'm just better looking. Ha!)
Plus, if you knew of a magical being that is the equivalent of the fountain of youth, wouldn't you keep it??
I would!
And jangan nak cover2, I know you would too..

I want a pet just like Pascal!
That would be so cool.
I want it SO badly!

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Ouh Oh...

I SUCK at saving money.

Seriously.
Am an EPIC failure.

I naively thought that starting a business would help with my money woes.
Hah!
I should've opted selling things that I absolutely hate because surrounding myself with such pretty things makes me want to buy them for myself!

And my supplier HAD to tempt me with a year end sale!
Grrr!!!
But they had the IT Enviro-Health-safe brand, ZOYA for sale..
And I can NEVER find it in M'sia for the price they're offering (=.=)"

Please focus on the 'Toxin free' part.
NOT the moms part.
I ain't Preggers!

I bought 3.
That's 3 MORE to my already ordered pile of nail polishes I bought together with my so called 'clients'.

It needs repeating: EPIC FAILURE!!!
*Super flying kick muka sendiri!*

Needless to say, the number of clients I get does not even cover the cost of things I buy.
ARRRGH!

Will NOT be surprised if one day my loved ones decide to organize an intervention for me.
The sorry man who marries me better have an obese pocket!
Meh.

I am still stuck with my money woes.
And with Jessup, I can't even work to earn the money.
Which leaves me the only one option; to WIN Jessup and stash away some of the spending money we'll get.
(Yeah RIGHT! I'll be in freakin' DC! I'll more likely arrive with an empty suitcase and come back with TWO!!!)
Fuck me.

The OneS

I cannot sleep.
Not even after a 4km jog in the middle of the night.
Now my mind is wandering off..
And always ALWAYS going back to moots, my moots family and how badly I want to win Jessup.

The weird thing is, I don't care about how awesome being national champions will look on my CV.
Nor do I care if I get the bragging rights of being the best at something.
It's not even about sacrificing my holidays -since god knows when..

I just wanna win to make sure that our last hurrah counts.
The last moots that we'll ever be in as a team.
Hell, if we're going out, we'll go out with a bang.
And I will miss you guys dearly when you retire.
Really.

Though it may be a tad premature for me to say this;
But I do not think that they'll ever be another team like ours.
At least not for me.
*I am convinced that we took the whole "team spirit" threshold a lil too far*
Heh.

And I do appreciate you guys.
Though I may not show it well with my constant late-ness & malas-ness.

More importantly, I do take our promises to heart.
Sure, we'll have to stop mooting at one point, but I don't think I'll ever have to hip-hip with you guys.
I do believe that we'll still be a team way after our mooting days are gone..

So Jessupers out there, you'd better get your asses covered coz we're out to get ya!

PS:

I love you guys.
I really do.
But just because you're retiring, does NOT mean you're off the hook!
Drop by when you sense we're struggling with future moots.
Seriously.
You guys promised..

PPS:

Z, you are NOT allowed to leave me alone with moots.
Under ANY circumstances!
If you quit, I quit.
That's final.
*Puts foot down*
Literally.
I may not survive without you.
Heh.

PPPS:
The boyfriend wont be here on his B'day after all.
Well, I know he wants to be here and that's what counts.
I understand that you have obligations.
I will be here.
Waiting for you to come home.

A learning experience

Through moots, I learnt 1 new thing, the fine print really do contain some important shit.
Oh yeah, and also the fact that I'm NOT a morning person and will NEVER be one.

Through my new business, I learnt 3 things;

1) Who you know is REALLY important.
And all you need to do is to be nice, and people will bend backwards to help you.
Heh. Never knew that really works.
So life lesson learnt.
And thank you to Pieces of key for helping me advertise my new venture :)
I owe you one.

2) Never simply assume things will go well.
I seriously thought that as a UITM student who can NEVER find cool things easily on campus, this venture would get huge support.
I personally would jump at the chance to get things like discounted apparel/shoes/cosmetics that would be delivered personally to me.
But I learnt that not everybody would react the same way.

3) I am not a patient girl.
Meh.
It's been 3 days since I've started the business and I've sold around 15 confirmed bottles.
And I'm so bloody impatient with getting the 50 bottle cap.
I'm so scared that 15 is all I'll get.
I had to be reminded by a seasoned seller that 15 bottles in 3 days is a feat.
(=.=)"

The boyfriend's birthday is coming soon.
And I have no idea what to get him.
Plus, I'm broke.

I am such a horrible girlfriend.

Nailed it!

In between preparations for Jessup and coping without a maid at home, I (somehow) managed to start a business.
Adoih.
This is not multi-tasking, this is craziness.

The funny part is, I'm selling nail polish.
Which is pretty much the last thing I'd expect myself to sell.
(though I absolutely adore nail polishes.)
It's a small project.
And it's seasonal (due to the shipping schedules).
I don't even have an official page for it.
No special contact number or E-mail.
So it's a very personal service.
My personal reputation is on the line.

I better not screw up.
*Gulp!*

Am hoping like mad that I'll manage to pull it off without actually LOSING money.
I think I'm on the road of EPIC failure because I only managed to narrow it down to 15 bottles for myself.
Meh.
The only one winning here in my supplier!
*Flying kick muka sendiri*
(I've been flying kicking myself way to frequently lately. This is bad!)

Oh.
Btw, If any of you readers are interested, do contact me :)
(Drop me a msg on the chatbox or e-mail me at arinalum@gmail.com)
O.P.I goes for RM 32 & China Glaze goes for RM25.
But I hope you personally know me coz I don't prefer post services.
(As I said, this is just a pet project)
Or if not, then you could to opt for COD around Shah Alam & Subang.
(More free advertising! Haha. *Muka tebal*)

Kiddie day

20th Nov was Universal Children's day and (if I'm not mistaken) yesterday we celebrated The Rights of the Children.

So in support, some of my friends have changed our profile pics to our fav cartoon characters that we've grown up with.
It was kinda cute seeing how even these lil things can shape us.

UNICEF also came up with a new interesting campaign to spread awareness;
"Cartoons for children's Rights"
UNICEF now works with animation studios and broadcasters for this campaign to create and telecast a 30 second vid to educate the public on children's rights.

Kudos to them.
At least they're trying hard.
I think it's much needed.
Since only this week did I hear somebody remark that we shouldn't uphold children's rights because they're such brats.

*Rolls eyes*
Sheesh, look at the bigger picture la macha..
We're not talking about well off kids with a family and good homes.
We're talking about those who are abused and forced into begging, hard labour, prostitution etc.
Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean that it's not a problem.

Oh, and I choose Cookie Monster as my character :)
Strictly speaking, he's not a cartoon character but I loved him as a kid!
But I found this instead when I googled him;

LOL!
Such a mood booster!
I especially love the one where he's wearing a straight-jacket in cookie rehab.
And I as much as I loved him as a kid, I'm sure he's a real scary monster for cookies everywhere.
Heh.

When I saw this pic, I remembered that I actually have a t-shirt exactly like this one!
The problem is.. Where the hell did I put it???
(O.o)"

Hate being MIA

There's something wrong with the internet at home.
Called TM.
They fixed it the next day.
But the monkey (the lil brother) did SOMETHING- I have no idea what..
And the line is down- Again.
Fuck.

So no internet for me.
Unless I drag my ass to the Uni.
Like I'm doing now.
*Sigh*
Which also means that I'll have to study.

Sometimes moots are just a pain the ass.
(Albeit an addicting pain the ass.)
Heh.

Have some contacts in the US who wants to bring home O.P.I and China Glaze nail polishes.
The O.P.I's goes as low as RM 32 per bottle (It retails at RM 50 in M'sia. Ceh!).
And China Glaze goes as low as RM 23 per bottle (It's not even in stores in M'sia. But they got rave reviews from the international community).
I bought a ton for myself.
It's such a deal.
Heh.

All the pretty coulours I'll have!

So much for trying to save up..
*flying kick muka sendiri*
I wonder if I should post this up for my friends as well..
Thoughts?

The normal things

The visit to NUS was.. umm.. interesting.
People say that I'll be blown away by how hi-tech and globalized they were.
In a sense, I was.

Pretty nice.
This is the business faculty and they have lil corners like this where students can just hang out or do their work.
I like the cute mini sofas!
Plus, the whole place is air conditioned.
But then, so is UITM..

But they win hands down on the student affairs department.
These are not condos, they're in-campus student residence!
*Green with jealousy*
If only Kenanga is like this :'(

But above all else, they have this near their student centre;

I mean like WHAT THE HELL?
That is so cool.
Major brownie points from me.
Nothing can win me over better then food~
They get Subway while the good residents of Kenanga get... nothing.
Not even a minimalist mini market.
*Boo~*

But just before going back to the hotel, I read this on one of the student shout out boards;
"We love bang bros, mofo bros, all bros. Yeah!"

LOL.
Just goes to show that no matter where you go, students will be students.
Perangai same je.
Hah.

Caught Mummy trying to plug in the printer using my i pod wires.
Haha.
She complains that she cant tell all the stupid wires apart.
So now we have a bunch of small bags with post-its on them- especially for all the pesky wires.
Mom is so cute sometimes :)

2. Jalan-jalan di Singapura

As mentioned, S'pore is CROWDED.
But it also makes a great place for me to do what I love best- people watch!

And I have to admit, (though I do not have any pictures) Singaporeans can dress up!
Or issit just because I'm in the city?
Hmmm.. Anyways, it makes me realise that general Malaysians don't put in even nearly the same effort to look good like these people.
I guess this just means that we're just plain lazy to do so coz we all know that Malaysian have killer fashion sense.
Heh.

Oh, and I don't wanna be left out!
I absolutely adore this dual-tone bubble dress from Quirky Brown Cow!
*Grins*

I would've paired this up with my new black leather heels, but my mission was to walk- No sane girl is gonna walk all day in sky high heels in the humid S'pore weather!
So I had to pair it up with the next best thing, my new brown loafers~
At least it matches my LV tote :)

I love dressing up everyday and not looking out of place doing it!
Plus, all-in-all, the whole look didn't even cost me more then RM 100.
1. Dress from Quirky Brown Cow- RM15
2. Belt from Sunway- RM 10
3. Shoes from U.R.S. & inc- S$ 25 (Ard RM60)
total: ++ RM 85
(Of course, excluding my LV tote, Tag Watch & Asprey ring- but all of that can easily be replaced with any other bag/watch/ring and you'll still look slamming!)

I fell in love in LV's store today..

I've always loved edgy boots.
Twas the first thing I saw the whole day that I absolutely LUSTED over.
I WANT IT!
(HINT!!! You know who you are.)
Haha.

But it was S$ 2,000 a pair!
*Sobs*

So I dragged my sorry ass outta there and went to Charles and Keith instead.
BIG mistake!
Because I found these;

But it's S$ 150!
Might as well get the pair back in Malaysia :(
Oh. I'm broke and I'm planing to buy a RM 400 pair of heels..
*Flying kick muka sendiri*

-

1. The walk from my hotel to Bugis Junction is 10 mins.
I spent 30 mins to get there.
I was just there the other day and yet, I got lost today.
My sense of direction sucks.
(But then, I already knew that. Heh.)

2. I know S'pore is small but this is ridiculous!
It's so crowded here.
And I'm not referring to Bugis Street itself.
The whole area was crawling with shoppers- and it's a weekday!
*Pening*

3. Bugis Street reminds me of Petaling Street.
And similarly, you have to really hunt for the best bargains.
And oh, the fantastic bargains I found :)
Tee-hee~

It's amazing how good the materials are here!
Better then I've ever seen in places like these in M'sia anyways..
And Some of the things here are way cheaper too.

4. The food here is crazy expensive!
One would think that food here would be only slightly more expensive as compared to M'sia since we're neighbouring countries after all..
But I guess the import/export takes a toll on the prices.
kesian.
*Sings NegaraKu*
I LOVE Malaysia~
I love our food!

5. 3 hours in the gym and now planing on a long soak in the tub.
Ahh... Perfect!
I wish everyday is like this..
(PS: my tummy STILL wont go away. sheesh.)

6. Daddy is gonna go berserk when he sees the bills.
Heh.
Oh well.. It is an expensive city after all...

Will be going to National University of Singapore (NUS) tomorrow.
Hmm.. The winners of Maritime.
Maybe I'll Jampi the place so that we'll win next year.
Heh.
kidding.
Or am I??
*Evil grin*

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

*Shakes head*

1.
I am so used to sleeping late..
Up to the extent that I didn't even sleep a wink before going on the flight to S'pore.
By the time we got to the airport, I couldn't even keep my eyes open.
Oh, did I mention the the flight was at at 6 in the freakin morning??
Sheesh.

2.
I saw Air Asia's plane- or should I say bus with wings- that I was supposed to board.
And I ain't gonna lie, the little thing scared me.
Can it withstand the turbulence?
Can it even get off the land??
*Shivers*
I DO NOT like the idea of crashing.
*Gulp!*
Ergo, no sleep for me on that damned flying bus.

3.
I was so sleepy.
I even slept on the bus on the way to the hotel (=.=)"
Sleeping on a public bus in a foreign country- with all my luggage.
Not very smart.
Heh.
Thank god I didn't miss my stop!

4.
My room @ Marina Pan Pacific is gorgeous.
And the view.. LOVE!

AND the bathroom!!!

I have no idea what my deal is with bathrooms, but it's the most important room in my book!
I want something similar in my own (future) home.
Take note! (You know who you are.. tee-hee.)
Ooh! But the best part- the freakin' hotel is ATTACHED to Marina Bay Mall.
XD

5.
Hence, not even 12 hours since we arrived, I've already spent a BOMB.
6 pairs of shoes in one go.
OMG.
I am one crazy bitch.
And my mom spent just as much.
Adoi.
No DNA tests needed.
I am mummy's daughter.
Meh.

6.
I've gained weight.
Ugh!
Swimming tomorrow then.
I need to slim down so that I can actually fit into my lovely frocks!

Will be going sight seeing tomorrow!
(Codeword for shopping)
Yay!
PS: I miss the boyfriend.

When it's good, it's orgasmic

Exams are over!
Am SO glad :)
Nothing that I absolutely HAVE to do.
Just full hours of doing whatever I want to do.
Heaven!
*Grins*
And to celebrate the end of the pesky exams, we all went out to dinner.
Meow even got back from home just to hang out with us.

I Love you!
(PS: You still owe me food for that promise you broke.)
(PPS: Seriously. I'm waiting.)

And (of course) the rest of the housemates.
They never fail to make me feel right at home :D
Formal intro to this bloggie:
Frm left: Moi, Adik, Anna & Amyra.
(PS: Am going through some major jealousy issues with adik. She has bright red short hair now. I ALWAYS wanted that! Since like, FOREVER. *sobs*)

And though I've been spending most of my time with the boyfriend since the end of the exams, I still miss him.
I guess I'm supposed to be sad that he's back in Mersing.
But the thought that I'll miss him- Even after all our spills, makes me happy.

I don't mean to be all gushy here, but I do love you.
All of you.
And yeah, that includes all your craziness.
Heh.

(PS: Thanks for watching Megamind with me~)
(PPS: In a way... you can dance. Haha.)

Am truly happy.
The happiest I've been in weeks.
I hope this lasts.

This is a picture of my train of thought.

Serabut.

I do not understand you.
At all.

And though I try to..
I can't seem to comprehend.
Even when I give up (which I RARELY do), I still don't get anywhere.

One moment I'm happy.
On cloud nine.
Over the moon.
And all of that shit.
Then it all comes crashing down.

This cannot be healthy.

I love how pictures can capture how I feel..

No matter which path I choose, it always seems to go back to you.
Even when you're the person I'm pissed at- it will still lead me right back to you.
Always.

Maybe a part of me wants to go right back to you.
Simply because I like you.
I adore you.
I love you.
Maybe that makes all the pain and anger worth it..

But don't think that I don't realize the stark differences between us.
Because I see it all too clearly.

I want to do this- You don't like it.
You want to do that- I don't like it.

You won't bend, and I won't break.
Now where will all this leave us?

I will no longer take things for granted.
For too long I've shrugged and said relationships are easy.

I am duly eating my words...

What's yours and what's mine.

It wasn't because I had to get a hold of you via your friends.
It wasn't because you fell asleep instead of getting ready.
It wasn't because I've already bought the movie tickets.
It wasn't because I've already reserved a place for us to eat.
It wasn't because you've canceled out on me on the very last minute.

It was because you simply said that you didn't want to.
Without explaining why.
Expecting me to just take it as it is.

THAT is why I'm falling apart.

I love you.
But we both know that I'll never let myself be 'one of those women'.
Who'd follow what others order them to do.
Or do things how others want it to be.

I thought you'd love me BECAUSE of that.
To know that I'll at least try to stand strong against the currents and not follow it.

But if you'd rather have 'one of those women', go back to your last girl.
Because I'd never be what you want.
I'd rather take care of myself.

Fuck the exams!
Land law blows.
Am praying to god that I wont ever have to take that paper again!

Exam week.
(When will this end???)

Got stung by a bee.
Still itches like hell.
Bee dead for stinging me.

Equity and Trust paper was a total bust.
stomachache during exam.
Shit. Literally.
Worse timing ever.
(And am pissed coz the guy sitting next to me SLEPT for the first 20mins of the exam)

Land paper in approximately 8 hours.
Have not memorized all the cases nor sections.
Fuck it.
Am still planning to sleep soon.
Enough rest = enough energy to bullshit intelligently.

Need some good R&R.
After this paper, will put aside at least 3 hours for game play :)

Oh, to be royal~

Halloween is kicking in and all things weird are starting to appeal to me.
And it's effecting my fashion sense too!
Heh.

True to the festive spirit, Soak Republic came up with the perfect chic Halloween accessory- The Facinators!

Just in case you don't know what they are, here's Cheryl Cole rocking one out;

I absolutely adore the over-the-top dramatic effect it has on a look!
But it'll look super weird if I started walking around in one without an event fit for it..
Oh, I wish I could go get one and wear them at this year's Halloween parties.
(Damn you final exams!)

The ones from Soak Republic are delish!

I WANT.
*Sobs*

Oh well, MAYBE next year I'll get a chance to put one on..
Surely I'll be able to wear one on my big day;

But that is not anywhere in the near future, so friends of mine, please start getting married!
Heh.
Then maybe I can wear one as a bridesmaid :D

This is too cute!
I'm so in!
Tee-hee..

I have to start studying Land law.
This never ends does it??

1

Our lovely Malaysia is either hot, Hot, HOT or wet, Wet, WET.
So for those sunny days, what better way to channel in those rays but with floral dresses??
Carrie Looks like a bronze goddess in this!

A maxi floral dress on a Sunday~
Sounds perfect right?
Especially if you're out hanging out with friends, walking the streets of KL..
*Grins*

But simple maxi dresses like the one I'm wearing may retail up to RM 120 :/
Now, we don't want that do we?
So here's where you can get the same look as Carrie's for less!

I cant even remember how much I got all my goodies for..
Hence, the estimation.
But no worries, to show you guys true value for money, I'd bump up the estimated price rather them bump it down :)

Steals:
1) Tan headband from "Cotton On AU"- RM 6
2) Floral clay studs from "Summit Market"- RM 10 for 3.
3) Floral Dress from "Pieces of Key"- RM 40
4) F21 inspired Portrait Ring from "Sungei Wang"- RM 10
5) Berry Bracelet from Uzbekistan- RM 10
6) Skinny belt from "seed" (Vintage)- RM 35
7) Yellow platforms from "Delicious" bought at "I Love Bazaar"- RM 35

Total: RM140
(Hey, that's not that bad! Plus you can always mix and match!)

TIP!
I used the official prices on blogshops and retail outlets.
If you know how, you can always get these itmes (or something similar to it) for much MUCH less.
*wink2*

Splurges:
1) Louis Vuitton tote bag.

Oh.. I do have splurges.. But I use them over and over again :)
(Nak sedapkan hati! Heh.)

For a better look at the accessories;

And a special thanks to the bestie for dragging me out that day.
Oh. And also for being the camera girl :)
Love you!

Am FINALLY done with equity and trusts!
And I'm rewarding myself with a good pillow talk with the bestie!

Paramore 2010

Am supposed to study.
So I'm making this as short as possible.

1) Won tickets. Two actually.
From the Hitz.FM cruisers.
Had to make a total fool out of myself by attempting to impersonate Hayley Williams but twas worth it.
RM 250 worth of Paramore goodies for free :)

2) It's study week and I'm off to a concert.
Heh.
We (finally) found a place to sit.
Unfortunately, we sat in front of a couple of boys who were HUGE fans of Paramore.
They stood from the moment the band's car rolled in.
The band is on stage, they are still standing.
The first song goes on.. and ends.. They're STILL standing!
And we were seated BEHIND them.
So my view thus far was=

Sial je.
But then, if they wanna stand, it's their prerogative.
We just switched seats.

3) The show was great.
Really.
They had such stage presence!
Two thumbs up for that.

4)But! The sound system sucked.
Big time.
They should've fired the guy who set it up.
The instruments totally drowned out Hayley's voice.
Cis.

5) Thank god for the acoustic sessions.
That made up for the bad sound system :/

6) They do know how to go out with a bang!
Twas festive to say the least.
LOVE.
The concert was worth my night of studying. (Oh, statement yakin!)

7) The quote of the night;
"We stole this couch. And it was awesome."
It was so nice to be in a playful mood for a change!

8) I just realised how awesome my camera phone is!
I took ALL of these pics from the 3rd floor. AND we sat at the back!
(Yes, I got the cheapest seats. But hey, better then nothing kan?)
The pics actually turned out clear! *Grins*

Scraped somebody's car.
I now have to pay for the repairs.
Damn, there goes my cash~

On the bright side, I got my baby Honda fixed too.
Now she looks so pretty!
Please no more accidents!!!

PS: when is Coldplay coming??!
I wanna see them!
