-

Not everybody is gonna like you.

They may not like you for no reason.
They may spread rumours about you- Even when they say that they're your 'family'.

They may try their darnest to ruin your life.
And I'm fine with it.
That's just the way things are.

But just because someone hates you, it doesn't mean that you should hate them back.
You do not have to use the same means the other person had to spread rumours.
You do not have to try to ruin their relationships or what they hold dear to them.
You do not have to even pay attention to such petty acts.
Because in doing so, you'd be stooping to their level.
And I refuse to stoop.

I thank my real friends who'd tirelessly remind me that all the haters are not my concern.
Because despite the flimsy attacks on my good name, in the end, nothing will ever change.
And that I'll still have them.

Funny how others have to point that out to me.
I should've seen it sooner.
I'll still have the boyfriend.
I'll still have the besties.
I'll still have my meow.
I'll still have my mooting family.
I'll still have my lovely select few Uni friends.
So I keep asking myself, what else matters??
Nothing.

I officially do not care anymore.
Am happy as it is :)

Heh.

I Love Bazaar (Early Oct)

Even with a ton of things to do, I still managed to squeeze in some time to go to this shindig;

I love bazaar!

As always, the place never disappoints!
And I got EXTRA lucky that day coz I found these;

Aaahhh! Finally!!!
I've been searching high and low for a rockin' pair of faded ripped (but not too ripped- I still wanna be able to wear em' to class) pair of jeans.
They were just lying there waiting for me..
Plus, I even snagged my fav straight jean cut!
(They're inspired by Guess' jeans' cut)
Tee-hee~

And RM65 for a pair of beautiful (and seemingly impossible to find) ripped jeans is a steal!

I've been really into accessories lately.
I do not know why though.. Heh.
Anyway, I absolutely LOVED this booth by Rose's Homemade;

Ohhh! Look at all those pretty necklaces!
Too tempting!

I ALWAYS buy necklaces with a slightly weighty pendant.
The weight prevents the pendant from flipping all over the place when you walk, so you dont have fix it's position every 5 mins.
(This especially helps if you have on only one-sided detail pendants.)

Plus, with weight, comes bulk- and more ofthen then not, durability too.
I HATE flimsy accessories >:/
But these seem to be just about the right weight..
And for RM 20 a pop, how could I resist??

Even managed to go to Kutu Market 2 after my 3rd language assignments.
When it comes to resisting retail therapy, I'm a major failure.
Cis.

Now Project :)

Got into a heated debate about women & fashion today.
Shallow. I know, but twas so much fun :)

Anyways, HG (a whole lot of other women out there) thinks that if you wanna be fashionable, you've gotta spend a lot of dosh.
Okay.. I admit that you have to spend a lil, but RM 150 for a plain white top???
*Shocked!*
You've got to be kidding me!

I don't care if it's from bloody Armani Exchange.
When you put it on, it STILL looks like any normal PLAIN white top.
Barely RM 20.
Nobody will notice that it's branded.
Unless there's a huge "A/X" printed on the front..
But that doesn't mean you're fashionable, it just means you have money.

Hence, in order to prove HG wrong, I'm taking on a new project!
Adopting the look book concept (no plagiarism here!), I'm gonna attempt to prove that you can still wear cheap/un-branded/discounted items and still look rocking!

Btw, here's the update on what you've missed on Recycle Day @ The Cosmod :)
The place is ultra cute!
I was instantly preoccupied with all the pretty lil trinkets on display!

And I found this (!!!);

I was searching for this high and low.
This computer case is too pretty!
And it's in my lappy's size (it's a tad big).
I want it so much :(
*hint!*
(You know who you are. haha!)

Oooh, and not forgetting the bazaar itself;

It's actually on the 1st floor of Cosmod.
(the stuff in Cosmod itself is quite pricey..)
And I have to admit, I was a tad disappointed at first.
It didn't look very impressive but when I dug into the pile, I actually found some really cool things! (which shall be featured in my project! tee-hee)

Twas definitely worth the long drive.
(mostly due to my lack of navigation skills. Heh.)
I would go to it's second installment in a heartbeat!

I'm a bimbo? So what?

I do not have any labels entitled "Politics", "Economy" nor "World news" in my blog.
Kau kesah apa?

We get enough of that in life.
We have to hear about it.
We have to learn about it.
And everyday we (or at least most of us) bust our asses doing things related to the fore-mentioned topics.

Just because you write full reports on your take of the matter, doesn't mean that you have an opinion on what's "important" and others don't.
I do not think that you've ever realised that people you talk to may know more about "that recent case" than you.
It's sad when you run your mouth and reveal that what you know barely scratches the surface.
kantoikan diri sendiri.
Buat malu je.
Poser.

FYI, people don't give a damn about what your take in the matter is.
Be a tad more important in our lives, then MAYBE we'll give a hoot.

So sue me if I wanna write about things that makes me happy for a change.
After a day of classes and piles of assignments, I do NOT want to further blog about it.
(Unless it has something to do with dissing it!)

If that makes me a bimbo, then so be it.

At least I'm an awesome bimbo. Heh.

p/s: Saya benci orang berlagak pandai.
Tapi sebenarnye tin KOSONG.
Hence, the rage.

Update!

To those who missed Recycle day @ The Cosmod; Boo!
It was rocking! (despite the blah support)
Will post on what you've missed! ;(

Okay, if saving mother Earth isn't your thing, then maybe health awareness is.
So if you're in Shah Alam or just need something to do this Saturday, why not stop by this event!
Plus, there will be a bazaar for those searching for something unique!
Shopping + awareness = A day VERY well spent :)

p/s: It's a darn shame I cant donate my blood to those in need.
Do donate some blood if you can.
What's the point of being awesome if you cant help a man out right?

Tipu!!!

Mummy: When was the last time you've checked your teeth?
Me: Awhile. (6 years to be exact. Heh.)
*Stern look*
Mummy: Better do something about it.

So...

Kawan: Tak sakit! Betul.. Scaling is just like brushing. Hard. Trust me.

I did trust her.
What an idiot I was.

Okay, It wasn't THAT painful..
I wasn't wailing at the top of my lungs or anything..
But there was definitely some tears.
If it hurts THAT much if my teeth was declared okie-dokie, then I do NOT want to find out what it feels like if something was actually wrong with my dear pearly whites.
*shivers*

Am going to Recycle Day (Pre-Love Bazaar) @ The Cosmod.
Yay! It has been awhile since my last bazaar :)
I miss it so~
Plus, it's high time I exchange some of my old stuff and clear up my closet!

Post Eid 2010

To describe the trip in one word; AWESOME!

I had NO idea I missed him this much :/
And the time spent was definitely compensation for the long time apart. (Heh)

The trip was more of a makan trip than anything else..
We were munching all the way yo!
Or at least I was.. Seriously, the food there rocks!
I do not know if it’s just the ‘holiday’ mood kicking in or it really does taste THAT good.
You can decide for yourself;

Almond Milk.

Tastes like milky spiced tea.
And since I was too full (tapi mengada nak rasa jugak) this was as far as I got to finishing it.
Membazir! Heh.

From left: Garlic cheese naan set and butter chicken.

I know... All VERY fattening.
But hey, who knows when’s the next time I get to feast on their butter chicken!
Twas absolutely yummy!
Mmmm... writing about it makes me hungry. Cis.
At Kapitan
Credits to Dan for introducing the place.

If you’re ever in Penang and happen to visit Titi Kerawang waterfall (or anywhere near the place), drive a lil more down south and you’ll find the cutest home cooked asam laksa place;

Ain’t it just adorable?
And it’s at a real house.
The whole place was very homey..

The food was good too.
I’m not much of an asam laksa fan. (Normally I get fish bones in soup. Yeesh.)
But I actually enjoyed this! And the prawn popia-like appetisers were how I liked them; moist in the inside, crunchy on the outside.
*Mouth waters*
At home cooked assam laksa

It’s been awhile since we’ve last watched the sun set on the beach.
I forgot how magical it was.
I wouldn’t trade you for anyone else in the world :)

Oh, and we even managed to go on our very own nature expedition while waiting for the sun to set.
There were critters galore.
And they say you have to pay to see the fishies and all the other crawlies.. Bah!

Raya Aidil 2010

The trip to Malacca was LONG.
The jam was horrible.
And since the car was filled up to the brim with all the stuff we 'absolutely needed' for our 4 day stay, the trip was not only long but it was also CRAMPED.

The view.
For a long LONG time.

Oh, and remember the last post?
The one about me cleaning up nasty things in the old house?
Well, I had to clean. (No doubt about that..)
And it was nasty.
I do not want to see another rat poo.
Ever. (Or at least till next year)
Meh.

This one is squished.
By who?
I'll never tell...

Really, the only other way to get over the gross-ness of it all was to laugh and have fun with it.

Yes, even taking down the curtains was gross.
We found so many cocoons.
Of what, I do not know..
*Shivers*

But I have to admit, the place looks pretty damned good when it's clean and rat poo free.
Yay!
Raya itself was just as I expected.
Still no visitors except for the loyal one or two families.
But at least twas time well spent with the family.

Oh! And did I mention that I FINALLY finished with my pesky Koko and Trusts assignments?
Double yay!
Only one more left (Admin!)..
Then I can spend the (real) holiday guilt free!

Oh, FYI; I climbed over a gate.
(Am not mentioning where and when. Nor why.)
And I did it in a baju kurung.
And in these heels;

And they say heels restrain your movements.. Ha!
Superwoman in heels indeed :)

1 Day Left

Final day of puasa.
Yay!
I know I shouldn't be too happy that the holy month is over, but heck! I can eat when ever I want again!
I think that in itself deserves a huge YAY!

Just like Merdeka, I am not in my Raya mode.
Weird.
Everything is so dead.
Meh.

It doesn't matter anyway, this year's raya can't be any worse then last year's.
No visitors.
No yummy Raya food.
No duit Raya.

At least the 3 solid days without the Internet means that I can FINALLY get on with my mountain of assignments!

p/s: I cannot wait for the trip to Penang after Raya!
Woot!

Well have to clean up the old house :(
No beds in the old house :(
Hence, I'll have to sleep on the couch (if I call dibs on it fast enough and beat all my other male cousins to it..)
So much for 'ladies first'.
Am not looking forward to this :(

I can cook? :)

I cant believe I botched up INSTANT soup.
Sure, twas 'Chinese mushroom soup' but it was STILL instant.
I think the expiry date was up.
I'm not sure :/
It looked kinda ok;

See?? Looks safe..

But it tasted... off.
Only after the 3rd spoon did I finally realise that it wasn't supposed to taste THAT bad.
Nobody would buy this thing if it tasted the way it did!
Uggh!
So down the sink it goes.
Epic FAIL.

Which brought me to my new revolution;
To start learning how to cook, bake and anything to do with being a domestic goddess!
*Grins*

So in the spirit of Raya, I've tried baking!
First experiment: Choc chip hazelnut cookies.

The first batch actually got burnt.
(=.=)"
Oh well.. After some trial and error I think I got it to 'passable'.
It wasn't perfect.
But at least it was edible (twas a lil hard).
Heh.

But not to be deterred, I stared on my second experiment; Choc chip butterscotch cookies!
And it was actually really good!
Yay!

Ain't it pretty??
Tee-hee.

Next quest; Actually cook dinner!
(If not for the whole family, then at least just for me.)
No need to humiliate myself with the lack of cooking skills :/

p/s: Both batches of cookies were dispatched to the boyfriend :)
Am hoping he likes it.
*Crosses fingers*

More to come soon :)

Merdeka 2010

Is it just me or is 'the spirit of merdeka' is slowly ebbing away?
One day before merdeka and I can't even see ONE Jalur Gemilang along the highways- let alone on buildings..
No gay songs on air.
No wonderful yet overly cheesy malay movies about our independence day.
This is no fun :/

But I did have great fun with the boyfriend instead.
Yup, it's official.
We're fucking crazy.
Thank god we didn't get busted. (tee-hee..)
Wonder what shenanigans we'll get into next year.. (o.O)"

p/s: Congrats to the interpart winners!
A special holla to the pre-law kiddies who put themselves out there and to my bestie-moe for bagging the title of best mooter.
I cant think of anyone better to take over *ahem* my spot.
Hahaha!
(Perasan yo!)

I'm supposed to start on my huge-ass-pile of overdue work.
Not to mention my (unexpected) moots next month.
*sigh*
As always, I'm on-line, doing everything BUT my work.
*Flying kick muka sendiri*

Interpart 2010

SO TIRED!
Even though I ran away from the event early (tee-hee), I'm still dead tired.
I cannot imagine what the rest are feeling like :/

p/s: Congratulations to the teams who broke to the semis!

I know I should be more involved with the event.
It WAS where I started my mooting Career after all..
Heh.
But the parental unit is getting restless.
And them restless = me on the grill about what I do.
*Sigh*

Plus, they're starting to doubt my ability to score in my studies.
Normally, I'd brush their remarks aside but that was when I KNOW I can score.
Regardless what they say.
Now, not so much.
Twas like a smack in the face when I realised that we only have 2 months to the finals.
What the hell have we been studying in class anyways??!
*Gulp!* (o.0)"

Oh, and QUT is visiting UiTM and they want a 'friendly' moot match.
Right before finals.
Thanks.
Like I don't have anything better to do then fret about these penyibuks!
Sheesh.

Ranting

It's a Friday.
My day so far has been horrible.

I did not get enough sleep yesterday, credits to our land law test.
(No wonder the failure rate's so damn high! *gulp!*)

I am absolutely convinced that I did worse for my mandarin test.
(Seriously, I suck at the language. Big time! How can an extra subjet be HARDER than my core subjects?? Sheesh.)

While packing for the mooting workshop in Kedah, the electrical outlet in my room magically stopped working. Agggh!!!
And I STILL haven't gotten a chance to print out my script yet!
I had to write down the damn thing.
No power = No printer.

Oh, did I mention that I knocked somebody's car?
Some bright genius parked his car in TWO boxes and I had to squeeze into the space he so graciously left me with.
Tau tak UiTM punye parking spots macam haram?? Limited gila! Kenapa la parking macam kau tu VC!! Sial.
(Hilang pahala puasa~ Hish.)
Thank god it was just a lil tap and it didn't leave a scratch on the other car..
Or else! *shudder*
I do not have the funds to handle that..

Am praying (HARD!) that the day gets better..
Dugaan sungguh pada hari Jumaat yang 'holy' ni (=.=)"

-

The month of Ramadan is not being kind to me.
One would've assume that no eating during the bulk of the day would slim you down right?
Ok.
Fine.
A lot of people gain during fasting month.
But they binge!
I don't.. (I think..) *sigh!*

I feel like a bulldozer.
And hanging out with the bestie and her (well endowed *wink2*) lil sister did NOT make me feel better.
Looking at all them pretty little things they put on.. *Geram!*

Oh well, what to do..
(But I still blame my big frame on genetics!)
Heh.

I wonder why-oh-WHY is my c-box being bombarded with ads??!
Is it a new marketing strategy or something?
But I have to admit, as annoying as it is, it's a brilliant plan to advertise your stuff without spending a single cent.
Oh, p/s: please stop spamming my c-box.
Much appreciated :)
